The delicate blossoms, the fresh buds, and the lively bird capture the essence of spring, a time of new beginnings and renewal in Japanese culture. The fine details and the gentle coloring give the work a natural grace.

The artwork was painted on paper and carries a jikusaki made of wood, corresponding to the traditional style of the kakemono. The fine brushwork reflects the high artistry of Japanese painting, while the harmony between the bird, the tree, and the blossoms creates a peaceful and fresh atmosphere.
