Empty Border Empty Mounting for a Shikishi, Green (New)

An empty kakemono mounting into which a shikishi can be inserted. The board is held at its four corners by crossed retaining threads and can be removed again at any time – so a shikishi can be hung like a hanging scroll and changed with the season or occasion.

The mounting is newly made and framed in brocade with a floral pattern. It measures about 36 × 123 cm; the jikusaki are made of plastic. It is delivered rolled up in a box.

The shikishi shown in the photos is for illustration only and is not included.
