Makuri Gentle Elegance of the Tiger - Makuri without Mounting

In this expressive painting, the artist Kokyo has captured a tiger in a rare, peaceful gesture. With closed eyes and a raised paw, the majestic animal appears to be resting in the grass while carefully grooming itself. This intimate depiction reveals a gentle side of the otherwise powerful predator.

Painted on fine silk, the work impresses with its detailed execution and the harmonious balance between the subtle background elements and the vivid depiction of the tiger. A unique work for art lovers and collectors.

Please note that this is exclusively the painting without mounting and frame.
