Description

A large, brightly red sun stands high in the pale sky, bathing the vast, misty landscape in a soft, warm light. In the foreground, two delicate plants with dark green leaves and small red berries rise from the ground, swaying gently in the wind. The composition is deliberately reduced and radiates a deep calm and timeless serenity, as if the scene were inviting the viewer to quiet contemplation.

The work bears the signature and seal of Hara Zaichu. Painted on silk, it unfolds a restrained yet expressive palette, in which the intense red of the sun softly contrasts with the delicate gray and beige tones of the landscape. The fine brushstrokes lend the leaves and berries a natural freshness and lightness.

The Jikusaki of bone frame the piece in a classic and elegant manner. It comes with a signed wooden box. This hand-painted unique work brings a calm, almost meditative atmosphere of Japanese landscape painting into the room and is especially suited for lovers of reduced, poetic depictions who value subtle color harmony and inner stillness.
